Marketing, recruitment or death by powerpoint; we want to give you a chance to meet up, ask questions and network without having to listen to any corporate presentations or getting pestered by business people who see a money opportunity without really understanding what you do. This is not a corporate exercise driven by PR but started as a quick meeting over many beers of the founders, people who work for large corporations but didn’t want to go to yet another fancy meeting in the Silicon Valley. We know the talent is here, and we know that you can help us make our offers more relevant to you and the web, which is why we started PlugLondon.
For half a day at Skype London office on the 8th of December we invite you to join us and demonstrate your innovations, hear about our APIs, ask experts without having to get an appointment, and show us what you have done using what we have on offer. Oh, and beer. Did we mention beer?
Reminder: We are happy to have developers of all kind, this event is not limited to you using our APIs and SDKs (although they rock). Don't hold back because you don't use our stuff.
This is a community and you will be the judges of what is good and what this event will become in the future. You are welcome and invited to take part. For those outside London (yes, we know who you are!), don’t worry, we did not forget about you or consider you less important. We just had to start somewhere, and like taking a bus home.
